All our PCR Kits contain primers, +ve control, negative control, nucleotide, buffers, loading dye and molecular marker (in case of RNA kit: it contains RNA to cDNA chemicals reverse-transcriptase, ribonuclease inhibitor, dNTP etc.). You have to add your DNA or RNA template to them. Our kits can be used with any good-quality thermocycler availale on the market. Our kits expire after 1 year, if they are stored at -20°C. All of our products are made in our laboratory in Germany. We can give you the certificate of German origin, as some countries may need this certificate.

How to use our genequencing service: Now you do not need to isolate the band from agarose, you can just send us 10 ul of PCR product in one tube (where you have seen the band), we can do the result. How to send the PCR product us is simple: just put 10 ul of PCR product in one microtube, close this tube and put in one envelop (there is no need of any ice or dry ice) . Please send this envelop to us. We will do the rest job and send you the sequence. We can help you also to interpret the results. The combination of the PCR with genesequencing will make your results 100% accurate. After that there will be no question about the accuracy of the test. This can be offered at the beginning, but later you have to send us the PCR in product in ready to use form or there will be some costs for the preparation of material for genesequencing. However we can help to prepare the material for genesequencing. It is easy to get the genesequencing done.

We have decided to offer the positive controls. Our positive controls contain the isolated DNA of microorganism i.e. these are purified DNA. This is only for PCR purpose. We have not really quantified the amount of DNA in the controls ( it might be around 50 ng or more or less in 100 ul solution and 60 ul for RNA), but it will be sufficient to be used as positive control for PCR method. cDNA (first-strand cDNA) conversion Services: we offer services to generate cDNA. You can send us the tissue or probe in order to create the cDNA. We will isolate the RNA and convert this in cDNA. This price is depending on service and how difficult is the isolation from the tissue and conversion from the tissue. e.g. conversion of cDNA from liver tissue (tissue to be supplied from client) : RNA isolation + cDNA conversion : from Euro 69,- per probe (in case more than 2 probes: the price will be Minimum Euro 59,- per probe). F) MicroRNA products (miRNA):  NEW

MicroRNA (miRNAs) are the smallest, functional, noncoding RNAs in plants and animals. Hence miRNA having 21-25 nucleotides length represents around 1 to 2% of eukaryotic transcriptome and have been shown to play critical roles in the coordination of cell differentiation, proliferation, death and metabolism and recently in tumorogenesis. It has been found that the expression of let-7a miRNA was reduced in human lung cancer and colon cancer. Ras and c-myc are universal pathways of several tumours, let-7a miRNA may be the target of tumour genesis. Similarly there are micro organisms encoded miRNAs e.g. Herpes virus, E. coli etc. miRNA are different from other traditional RNAs, therefore different methods are needed to quantify their presence and expression. Some of examples of miRNA are U6, let-7d, miR-15a, miR-92 etc. Genekam Biotechnology AG has decided to offer the different tools to do the analysis of miRNAs.

M)  Cross-reaction check panel for PCR tests

There are many laboratories in the world, which have developed the tests from publications or their own methods, but a few of them might have really checked the PCR tests for cross reactions, therefore we have decided to offer the possibility to get your PCR tests tested for cross reaction with related and non related micro organisms or gene targets. The panel will be decided with the client together. The client has to provide us the chemicals and protocol for conducting the PCR (he can use code name like 1, 2, 3 etc on the chemicals) and we can make non disclosure agreement also.

In this way one gets checked the PCR assay. According to our experience, around 50% of publications have the problem of cross reactions, even some of them have been cited frequently in literature, and hence it is one of important task of validation. There may be many telling you that they have tested their primers virtually or in software. One can make good drug in software, but in clinical studies, it fails many times. Same is the case with PCR. We are trying to close this drawback so that PCR tests should be more accurate and reliable. The prices for making cross reaction check panel will start from Euro 350,- and it will depend on panel, hence the will be quoted after the selection of panel. All will be done in our laboratory and after that we will give you the written protocol with discussion. One tip for those, who are using very frequently PCR for HBV, kindly check this test for blood micro organisms and other related micro organisms, where you may get surprises? 

Similarly there are many companies offering you the only primers with protocols, kindly let them checked for cross reactions and see what happens ? It may be possible that you have to correct your results again.

If you made the diagnostic on the basis of these primers, you may have to perform the same work again.
